Independent publication and name
Radio Waumini is an independent digital travel publication. Despite the word “Radio” in the brand, radiowaumini.org is not affiliated with, operated by, endorsed by, or the official site of any radio station or broadcaster using the same or a similar name.
Fictional house voice
Amaka Okafor is a fictional editorial persona used to create a consistent house voice. She is not a real traveler, hotel inspector, Nigerian reviewer, employee biography, or source of first-hand experience.
An Amaka byline does not mean that a person named Amaka visited a property, took a flight, ate at a restaurant, used a product, or spoke with a local resident. Learn more in our [Persona Disclosure](persona.md).
Research basis
At launch, most articles are desk-researched editorial synthesis. We use sources such as official websites, public agencies, maps, booking platforms, and patterns in public customer reviews. Public reviews are attributed evidence from other people, not our own experiences and not automatically verified facts.
If an article includes original first-hand reporting, a hosted stay, a supplied product, or a paid visit, the page should say so and identify the responsible real contributor.
Affiliate links and referrals
